COUNSELING

I believe in nurturing dynamic relationships with God, self, others, and creation–relationships that allow you to be who and what you were created to be. My approach is casual with a focus on the elements and emotions of what you bring to session and the relationships in which there has been harm or misunderstanding. Together we will journey through your stories, past and present, to uncover the pieces that will form a meaningful future. Ideal clients include (but not limited to):

         *Couples experiencing difficult marriages
         *Couples struggling to connect emotionally
*Those facing questions of identity-including LGBTQ+
         *Parents of teen/adult LGBTQ+ children
         *Those facing grief
         *Those struggling through life transitions
*Those seeking deep connection with God

MARRIAGE COUNSELING & INTENSIVES

Relationships can be tough. We offer couple counseling with strategies designed to connect and heal.
For those who seek a deeper dive into their relationship difficulties, we offer options for 2 or 3- day marriage intensives.
These  intensives are held in Colorado and are for those:

    *In difficult marriages
    *Emotionally disconnected relationships
*Who live as roommates with their spouse
*Wanting a tune-up or deeper connection
*Desiring a great start for their marriage

PARENTS OF LGBTQ+
ADULT SONS & DAUGHTERS

The world is difficult enough for our teens and adult children. Throw into the mix sexual orientation and gender identity questions, and relationships can get pretty dicey. At In the Gap, we want to see parents and their LGBTQ+ sons and daughters find love and acceptance in honest and dynamic relationship with one another--even when basic values and beliefs are wildly different. We do NOT ask that these values and beliefs change. Our desire is to help relationships to  be managed in ways that promote unity.

*Panic and the Emotional Roller Coaster
     *Values and Beliefs-Accepting Paradox
     *Communication that Connects

"I LOVE to read your writing. You have a way of wrapping the raw in beautiful words, but it's not fluff. It reminds me of God covering our brokenness with His love." KL
"CommonBond class has helped me with finding myself, my sobriety, my faith and has helped me to find out how to further advance myself with school, job searches and to take worth in myself and my self-esteem." Participant
